AFTER 49 YEARS, OLD CHANG KEE HERALDS ITS NEW FAMILY ADDITIONS.
Old Chang Kee has delivered great-tasting bites to many Singaporeans for so many years. And it looks set to continue its commitment with the arrival of two delightfully new flavours, adding to its already tantalising repertoire. From this weekend, Singaporeans can look forward to the new Sardine'O and Pepper'O puffs. These new delights are still hand-made using fresh quality ingredients, and cooked fresh every day to seal in that Old Chang Kee goodness everyone loves.
“Through constant customer feedback, Old Chang Kee discovered that while the Original Curry Puff still retains its evergreen popularity, customers have always wanted to try other flavours encrusted in our crunchy puff,” said Mr. William Lim, Managing Director of Ten & Han Trading Pte Ltd, the franchisor of Old Chang Kee. He added, “So we started experimenting with various flavours which would not compromise our legendary dedication to quality and taste. After years of thorough research and development, these 2 new flavours are born.”
Old Chang Kee has come a long way since its early days, starting out as a small coffee-shop stall located at the old Rex cinema. It was bought over in 1986 by its current founder and chairman, Mr. Han Kee Juan, who has since built the brand’s reach to 39 outlets covering the length and breadth of Singapore. “The launch of the new flavours signals the beginning of many new exciting programmes coming soon. These are exciting times for Old Chang Kee,” said Mr. Han with a broad smile.
